I use iMovie on my Mac as well. Meanwhile, I have a Joyoshare Video Rotator to professionally rotate my video left or right to 90°, 180°, 270° or 360° in high quality. :D Both are handy!

It seems that your iPad is stuck on DFU mode and cannot be boot normally to further enter recovery mode, right? I guess you can repair iOS system by FREE enter recovery mode using UltFix.
