Is there a way to mute an app completely?

I’m trying to figure out a way to be able to use this app while listening to music. I don’t even care about the ads, but every time one plays it’s BLASTED with volume and has NO option to mute (plays loudly over my music). I tried and ad blocker and removing the app’s access to WiFi, but the app apparently has pre-installed ad/videos which can still pop up for its premium features even when you don’t have WiFi enabled.

I genuinely just want to listen to my fucking music - I don’t care about the ads themselves. Is there any way to prevent a particular app from making any sound/ads in general from making sound?
