Error code while attempting backup

Postby Squattingbear » 07 Dec 2017 04:52

I received an error code when trying to backup without a backup password: "No backup password set when required by device management (MBErrorDomain/207) (error code: -207)" so then I set a password and successfully backed up but now I can't access it in Backup Viewer to edit a file.

Hello,
May I know what is your iPhone and ios version?
If you set up the password while you are backuping, you can not view the Backup via Backup Viewer.

Hi and yes of course it's an iPhone 5s and it's running 10.2. And I received that error message after trying to backup after removing the password.

If the device have some Enterprise Configuration, for security, it will need you to set password when you backup.
You can not remove the backup password.

Hmm is there a way I can un-encrypted the files after backing up with a password? Because I can't use 3u to view the files

I am sorry, you can not un-encrypt the backup files, you can just restore the file and then enter the password you set before. You can not view encrypted backup files on 3uTools.

Is there a program that will allow me to see the encrypted files so I can edit them?

I am sorry, I don't know any tool can allow you to do it.
