ipad 4 black screen of death and dfu loop error

Postby fritschi64 » 08 Jul 2019 12:19

Hallo,
i have an ipad 4 wifi with the following problems. There is absolut nothing shown at the display. When i start 3utools it tells that the ipad is in dfu mode. When i than press home+power i recognize a sound disconnecting the device. I still hold home and release power button until dfu is shown again. When i try to flash the only possible firmware (hove downloaded older but 3utools isnt able to flash them i get the error "unable to change dfu mode to recovery mode". When i try an older i get the error "apple server do not support this firmware"

Is there anything i can do or ist the ipad dead !?
Thx for any help

It appears some software bugs with your iPad 4 if it gets stuck at black screen and DFU loop error.
A good way to try is use a repair tool, like Joyoshare UltFix iOS System Recovery, Fixppo, etc. to let it back to normal with No data loss. Or you can try basic solutions, like factory reset iPad, use iTunes to update or restore, etc.

If 3utools cannot help you download the right firmware, you can try some other iOS system recovery software. For me, I once used TunesKit iOS System Recovery to help me fix the iPhone black screen problem. It worked for me. Maybe you can also try it.

Here I would share some feasible ways to help you fix the iPad Black Screen issue.
1. First-Aid Tips for iPad Black Screen
Try to turn up the brightness of your iPad screen
Reboot your iPad or perform a hard reset
Charge your iPad for a few hours or longer
Put away your iPad to cool it down

2. Restore Your iPad in iTunes
Connect your black screen iPad to your PC and launch iTunes.
Once iTunes detects your iPad, a window will pop up and just click "Restore" to restore your iPad glitches.
You can hit on "Summary" manually if the window didn't appear and then click "Restore iPad" to run the restoring process.

3. Get iPad Out of Black Screen With No Data Loss
iTunes can't recognize your iPad? TunesKit iOS System Recovery is a professional tool you will need under this circumstance. It can help you fix the iPad black screen issue without data loss.
