How to Fix SIM Install Error?

Have you often come across the situation that your iPhone says no SIM Card installed, invalid SIM, or SIM Card failure? Honestly, many users may confuse about their iPhone always gets a popup saying that "No SIM card installed", but they don't know why does iPhone say “no SIM Card” or how to fix this problem.

So, if you want to know, just follow the guide below.

Firstly, there might be the simple glitch that can be fixed after several attempts, the iPhone battery is overheated or the SIM card is dust and faulty. Those may cause the SIM card complicatedly. Thus, here is an essential way for you to fix this SIM install error.

Solution 1. Toggle Airplane Mode
We'd like to toggle the Airplane mode to fix the issue when you meet iPhone Wi-Fi issues, cellular data issues or GPS, this mode can improve the efficiency of the mobile phone, but it may cause your iPhone keeps saying no SIM.

To solve this, you just need to make sure that airplane mode is disabled in the control center.

Solution 2. Reboot your iPhone
Press and hold the sleep/wake button, and drag the slider once it appears. Once your phone is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button to turn it back on.

Solution 3. Check SIM Card
Check if there is dust in the tray or on the card, wipe it off. Make sure the SIM card is not damaged.But if not, you will have to contact your carrier for the SIM card replacement.

Solution 4. Carrier Settings Update
Sometimes when there's a new update for the carrier settings, you will get a new pop up saying that it is not available.

Go to "Settings" > "General" > "About" and check for any update. If the carrier settings update is available, you will be asked if you would like to update then now. Tap Update.

Solution 5. Reset network settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. Then enter your passcode, and try to tap Reset all settings to confirm your action

Solution 6. Upgrade your iPhone to the latest version of iOS
Go to Settings > General > Software Update, and tap Download and Install or Install Now (if you already downloaded the latest version of iOS).

Solution 7. Restore iDevice on 3uTools
If the above method still cannot fix "iPhone says no SIM" issues, then you may try to back up your iPhone data and start restoring iPhone with 3uTools.
