error unable to switch dfu mode to recovery mode

Hi
I am trying to flash ios 10.3.1 to an ipad 4 but i get the following error ,
"error unable to switch dfu mode to recovery mode" it happens at 11% of the flash
I cant get the ipad out of DFU mode with the button combo either ,has anyone any experience with this

Hello Dear,
1. Please change your usb cable and flash again.
2. Please try to check the drive of your computer. Right- click "Computer", then click "Manage" → "Device Manger".

I have the same problem with Iphone 4 Rev A (8 GB GSM), i cant donwgrade from 7.1.2 to 6.1.3. i dont have shsh.

Hello Game Gad and all,

you have got Nand problem, not stability of power supply / short circuit in the nand power rail or nand can't be read/wright - I/O driver internal fault.
